Curren$y is the guest on Soulculture’s Favorite Verse series in which emcees speak on their favorite self-penned 16’s. Curren$y picks “Breakfast”, a fan favorite produced by Mos Def that the two created while working at Dame Dash’s DD172. I remember when the song dropped, and then later it was followed by a pretty dope video as well. This is actually one of my favorite Curren$y records, and while I prefer “Rapper Weed” for obvious reasons, I think Curren$y made an excellent choice here. Check out what Spitta had to say below.
