The Lens and The Life 7/15/11
Life can be pretty interesting. From the days we’re shooting an interview or video, to the moments captured while walking through downtown Chicago, there’s always something that catches my eye. This new photo series “The Lens and The Life” is a way for me to showcase those moments and day to day activities. Most of the pics were taken using my iPhone, and using Instagram to edit them. In the future I’ll probably include some of the more professional pics too that come from the photo shoots and other projects we have. I included a little description for each pic to give you a feeling, but mostly let the photo do the talking.
This week we did a lot of walking and I did what I always do, shoot anything I think is interesting. We also did our first Digital Freshness of the Summer with Danny Brown, and pretty much had shoots the rest of the weekend as I started a new photo series, and did a photo shoot for “Le Thrift”. “Urban Totem Pole”

Saw this as I was walking in Greek town outside a restaurant and had to shoot it. It had this cool magical look to it and I knew it would look great after I added the filter. @ Greektown – 7/6/11

Walking home around 4:30 am on Michigan ave. from shooting pics at a photo gig. This looked kind of surreal to me maybe cause i was tired…lol 7/8/11

Street Walker “Daisy”
This is a preview of my new series “Street Walkers” where I hit a Chicago neighborhoods with a model who styles herself. The point is to show off different Chicago neighborhoods and spot light different styles. Le Thrift… Michelle
This is a preview of the summer shoot I did for “Le Thrift” all day Sunday. The heat was killing us all but we all toughed through it, especially Michelle who was great to work with. S/O to Michelle, Bobby Reys, Christine, Sirita, and Marie.
