They say you can take the boy out the street, but can’t take the street out the boy. Chicago’s Ace B8gie is one of the windy city’s rising emcees that speaks to that age old saying. As I’ve highlighted several times before, Ace is from Chicago’s southside, growing up around the same violence and poverty that has put Chicago on national news for all the wrong reasons. Ace is also a recent college graduate, with a degree in psychology from the University of Illinois. The way he’s able to show both worlds is what makes his music so dope, as well as important. As he gears up to drop a new project by the name of #Crazy8’s, Ace frames both worlds with his new video for “Wild 100 Degreez”, which is produced by Chicago’s rising producer, Chase N Dough.
