Frank Leone has worked countless hours, had thousands of ideas run through his mind, and probably hasn’t slept much in the days leading up to tonight, for the release of his EP Deep Ocean. The downstate (Monticello, IL) emcee has spent the last 8 months crafting, replacing, and ultimately creating the 7 track EP Deep Ocean. With features from Savemoney affiliates like Kami De Chukwu, Vic Mensa, Dally Auston, Sterling Haze, Nico Segal and others like The GTW, Rich Jones and Martin $ky, Leone has put together an extremely high quality project featuring the leaders of the new school.
“This EP is my first full project most people have heard of mine,” Frank said when asked about the importance of the project. “I have released a few mixtapes, but this project is going to define me as an artist, and I intend to broaden the horizons of what hip hop can sound like.”
