Kid Cudi is Tired of Rapping

The uniqueness of Scott Mescudi's music is undeniable. With his recent track, "Erase Me", he ventured into the world of rock and apparently he liked the experience. If you've seen the old-school rock inspired music video, you'd know Cudi really got into the track. I've always thought he delivered amazing hooks and I hope that his future takes him in that direction. In a recent interview with MTV, Cudi spoke about his future with music, working with other artists (like how he didn't want his verse on "Christian Dior Denim Flow"), and how he's currently working on a rock album. Check out the extended interview below.
Joell Ortiz: "Night Train" ft. Novel

It's only fitting that this is being written at 1 in the morning... Joell and Novel have been working all kinds of hours to get where they are today. These two artists sound great together. If you haven't heard their collaborative album, Defying the Predictable, that dropped in February of this year, definitely check it out. Any track with Novel is always interesting because of his ability to string together rap verses and singing choruses so effortlessly. Don't forget about Joell though.
