Kid Cudi: "Erase Me" Live On David Letterman

Backed by a live band and sporting a porno-stache, Kid Cudi performed "Erase Me" live on David Letterman last night.  Strumming a guitar, something I had not seen Cudi do previously, he performed a roaring rendition of "Erase Me" off his forthcoming November 9th release, Man On The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager.  This was a very strong performance, one that Mr. Letterman called "smoking".  Check it out below.

LA's Warpaint have infused their first single off their first longplayer, The Fool, with an intense sense of longing.  The vocals, the guitar, drum, slowly fade away, holding on a second too long, almost clinging.  It's a beautiful sound that lingers in your head.  The song draws you in, evokes the song title, catches you in the undertow, dragging you with it wherever it decides to go. The Fool is out now on Rough Trade.
