Thee Tom Hardy: "A Different League" feat Skyzoo

Paying homage to the 1-2 punch of Billy Hoyle and Sidney Deane, Thee Tom Hardy and Skyzoo deliver "A Different League". Proving a well placed Chris Mullin reference can take you places, Hardy fills his verse with clever lines, introducing himself properly. Skyzoo compliments Hardy by being the proven starter, focusing his verse on the quality of The Salvation, and depth of his music.
This is off Hardy's mixtape The Hardy Boy Mystery Mixtape: Secret of Thee Green Magic. Download "A Different League" below.

Two times a year the NY based brand Supreme releases their magazine, a carefully curated one with interviews, wisdom, art, and a collection of the current season's collections. The new issue features interviews with John Lydon of the Sex Pistols, Large Professor (aka Xtra P and Large Pro), Philippe Petit, Cost, John Baldessari and a tribute to late Rammelizee. Today we have the BTS video of that shoot and like the Rosa Acosta shoot a few months back this one does not disappoint.
Brother Ali: "Breakin' Dawn" video

Brother Ali creates a stirring animated visual for the song, "Breakin' Dawn", which tells the tale of a shunned son that returns to unite those that cast him out and those that embraced him. That was the full theme on Brother Ali's last LP, Us, released via Rhymesayers and available now at Fifth Element and iTunes. Brother Ali also talked about the theme of the album as well as his life in this interview we did around the time of the release.

Roc Raida Video Tribute

This is amazing and inspiring. R.I.P. Roc Raida. Via V-Tech:
It's been almost over a year already and we still miss him.
The Beat Junkies, with the support of VTech, threw a tribute to our dear friend, the late great Grandmaster Roc Raida of the X-Ecutioners this past September. The actual event was exactly a year after the date he was buried: September 24th, 2009. We were able to have some members of the X-Ecutioners participate in the event, as well as having Roc Raida's family in the house. His daughter DJ NyRaida performed a set in tribute to her father.
If you were in LA for this event, you were able to witness something very magical. And for those who didn't get to experience it, and those who want to relive it, we present this video. Mochilla sat with the Junkies and X-Ecutioners and tried to remember Raida not in a sad way but in a celebratory way.
As MF Grimm says "Anyone who knows Raida knows that the energy that he possessed he was able to transfer to you - and once he did nobody could tell you anything…."
Watch, enjoy, and please turn it up…!!!

What do you have when you combine Big Sean, Chiddy Bang, a rooftop in Chicago, and Mike Carson? Well, you get a new video for Big Sean's "Too Fake", which features Chiddy and appears on his Finally Famous Vol. 3. As IllRoots puts it:
"We were out in Toledo a couple weeks back catching Big Sean, Dom Kennedy and Chip Tha Ripper perform. While there, we talked with Sean about linking up to shoot a couple videos. When he came to Chicago a bit later, the homies Chiddy Bang were also around for a separate gig. We got the two acts together and threw them on a rooftop to shoot this visual for their Finally Famous 3 collaboration ‘Too Fake’."
