Naledge: Where You At? Blog

Contrary to popular belief in my city, I haven’t fallen off of the face of the earth. In fact, I’d go so far as to say I have fallen back on the face of it by coming out to New York and tidying up some business. During the completion of the last Kidz in the Hall album, I spent almost 4 months living in New York in order to prepare for the release, do press and make appearances. Long story short, I feel that that this time spent immensely helped the visibility of our group and built better musical chemistry in the studio. I am happy to say that I feel that deja-vu coming on.
We have finally completed our new album for DuckDown (Land of Make Believe) and it will be released in February. For the fans who can’t wait until then, Kidz in the Hall will be releasing the Professional Leisure Tour EP on October 26th for FREE….that’s right free…gratis…no money down..lol… We also just completed the vdeo for “Jukebox” with directors BBgun. I just saw the rough cut of the album and it’s looking really dope. We look to have that out to you guys soon.
The best news of the entire trip has been that we are going on tour again. Kidz in the Hall will be on tour with U.N.I. and Warren G for a good 20 or so cities….I just posted the dates on the brainiac site this week. So…in all actuality I think being in New York has been very fruitful for me and business is getting handled. I can’t lie though, I can’t wait to go home and chill for a bit. I am performing in a CMJ DuckDown Showcase as well as another show for CMJ and right after that we leave for tour. I think I am going to soak up these next 2 weeks as best as I can before I embark on a LONG journey in a 12 passenger van…lolol.
Before I end this blog, I just want to wish my best friend j.o. a happy birthday….and a congratulations to Skyzoo on a dope album…catch him and my boy Chip tha Ripper at Darkroom on Friday…paz.
