M.I.A. “Boyz”: Jay-z & Wale Remix
Was going to post this yesterday, but I never got around to doing it…M.I.A has been killing it the past year, well really the last couple years. “Pineapple Express” really pushed her into the MTV generation’s forefront, and now I hear “Paper Planes” everywhere. Well, one of my Favorite joints off of M.I.A’s album is “Boyz”, it’s a very dope song and the video is just as dope (for you late bloomers check it below). Well, two of my favorite MC’s have added their touches on the remix of this very infectious track, check out Hov’s version and D.C’s Wale, both of whom I think killed it.
In other M.I.A. news Interscope will be re-releasing “Kala”, with “Boyz” being the lead single. It’s good to see artista like M.I.A finally getting the push from big labels. She’ll need the extra money, as she just announced that she is pregnant. Guess there won’t be that much more ‘getting high like planes”… Also, check out pics from a Myspace Billboard (click me) on Sunset blvd. in L.A. where M.I.A mentions Mic Terror’s “Juke Dem Hoes” as one of her favorite songs to move to (nice look Mic).
