RubyHornet: Ground Up is the first project, how long have you been working on it and how did it all really start?

Caleb James: To be honest, I made it in like 2 weeks. But it was last summer. And then hella people started coming through the studio, everyone in SaveMoney started coming, Chance, Joey purple, my n***a Kami de Chukwu, Vic, You know what I’m saying. We’ve all been going hard, but it didn’t really start off as no music thing. I always wanted to do music, that’s my passion.

RubyHornet: Because of your dad?

Caleb James: Right. But that’s how that shit came out. I didn’t really know what I was doing with it. That’s why I didn’t want to put too much out, and then that’s why all the dudes from SaveMoney got on it so late.
