Rockie: "Yo"

"I do this for the Go', Go'... Shouts to D.C. where they go-go..." 

There are too many Chicago artists on the come up to name them all, and distinguishing yourself from the pack is no easy task.  It is one that Rockie has continued to undertake, and the kid is making headway.  I finally checked out his music in detail a few weeks ago when he sent over "New Chapter", and have since listened to his full debut mixtape, Rockie's Modern Life.  It's a more than solid piece, and when Rockie and co. asked me to host, I was definitely down.  So yeah, that's new news as well, I'll be putting the RTC touch on the mix, which should be released shortly.  More news on the mixtape release, as well as party will be forthcoming... For now dig on "Yo" below.
