Chicago emcee ShowYouSuck has had a very strong year. Last year at this time, he was relatively unknown and releasing his first project, One Man Pizza Party. Since then, ShowYouSuck has seen his name and music reach all across the web and he’s without a doubt one of Chicago’s most watched artists. With his OMPP series, Show introduced his fans to a certain style and sound, one that is also crafted by his producer Mike Jaxx. Those two are currently finishing Rest In Pizza, the third and final installment of OMPP, which we may see in early fall.
In the spirit of branching out and exposing his fans to another side of himself, ShowYouSuck has teamed up with Stefan Ponce, a rising Chicago producer that is quickly seeing himself become a go to guy for Chicago’s younger emcees. The two crafted Girls, Girls, Girls, a new 5 song EP full of music dedicated to the fairer sex. So far we’ve heard the super-charged “Girlfriend” as well as the more laidback “Mediocre”.
