Rza, Gza, Raekwon, Ghostface and Method Man of Wu-Tang Clan:
It’s incredible that Wu-Tang Clan achieved what they did in the music business. Hip Hop had never seen a group of their size or rawness before, and the Clan immediately became one of Hip Hop’s most favorite crews.  They blazed trails musically with Rza’s grimey and kung-fu inspired production, matched with the diverse style and 5% influence found inside the rhymes of each emcee.  Their record deal also blazed trails something similar to baseball’s Curt Flood, as each member was allowed to sign their own solo deal.  While Wu-Tang Clan as a group is not too active these days beyond spot shows dates, many of its members have achieved well-respected and long solo careers.  Method Man has achieved stardom as an emcee and an actor, while Rza has moved into films, and Raekwon and Ghostface remain relevant and sought after.  Those mentioned above also have classic solo albums to their names, as well as Gza, who’s Liquid Swords is up there as well.
