Killer Mike and El-P

El-P of Company Flow:
If not for their show at Coachella and their first ever Chicago show earlier this summer, many of El-P’s most recent fans may not even know he is also part of the legendary Hip Hop crew, Company Flow.  Their debut LP is a cornerstone of the Rawkus Records era, and anytime they do anything together, Hip Hop fans collectively call for a new group album.  That said, El-P has been making headlines on his own for years and is having a monster 2012.  This spring El-P dropped his new solo album, Cancer 4 Cure.  It has received tremendous praise and landed on several best of 2012 early lists.  That’s not El-P’s only success thus far, he also produced Killer Mike’s R.A.P. Music, another LP that is at the top of the early best of lists.
