I teach two classes at Chicago’s Columbia College, a really excellent fine arts school. While I am really plugged into Chicago’s Hip Hop scene, I’m not as familiar with the indie rock scene. I do hear names now and then, and one band that my students talk about regularly is A Lull. I decided to search for the band today, and found their most recent output, “Some Love Sun” (Sun Glitters Remix). The sound is spacey, reminds me of chill-wave, Toro Y Moi and some Loyal Divide. This band is now touring the West Coast and predicted to do some big things. Check out the “Some Love Sun” remix and the video as well.
